 woman had the explosive in her bag, but the thing went off prematurely.

prematurely as chances were high that the military quarters was her

<span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD3">Atletico</span> Madrid striker Diego Costa and Bayern<br />Munich playmaker Thiago Alcantara have been<br />included in the Spain squad for Wednesday’s<br />friendly against Italy, but Manchester United’s<br />recent £37 million signing Juan Mata and<br />Chelsea striker Fernando Torres both failed to<br />make the cut.<br />Veterans of Spain’s 2010 World Cup success<br />including Alvaro Arbeloa, Fernando <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD2">Llorente</span>,<br />Carles Puyol and La Roja’s all-time record<br />goalscorer David Villa are among the other big<br />names left out for the match at the Estadio<br />Vicente Calderon in Madrid, which represents<br />Spain’s final friendly before Vicente Del Bosque<br />names his 23-man squad for the World Cup in<br />Brazil.<br />The 63-year-old boss told the <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD6">news conference</span><br />at which the squad was <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD11">announced</span> that enough<br />time remained for those omitted to play well<br />enough to make him change his mind.<br />“There are more than two important players<br />who are left out,” Del Bosque said. “But this<br />list is just for Italy. There is time in front of<br />us, three months of competition, and many<br />things <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD12">could happen</span> that ratify this list or<br />make us bring others.”<br />Arbeloa’s absence was a surprise, with<br />Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta and Atletico<br />Madrid’s Juanfran Torres getting the call at<br />full-back instead. Del Bosque said he wanted to<br />get a closer look at the versatile Azpilicueta in<br />particular.<br />“Of course there are some who are not coming<br />who have done a lot to deserve it,” he<br />continued. “But we believe that Azpilicueta is<br />playing well at Chelsea and we are going to<br />watch him up close. His versatility is useful for<br />us.”<br />Atletico’s Brazil-born striker was called up by<br />Spain in November — only for injury to stop him<br />making his debut for his adopted country — and<br />he has been given another opportunity to prove<br />he merits a call-up for the summer.<br />“I have not spoken to him [recently] but the<br />federation have called him to make sure he was<br />still thinking the same,” Del Bosque said. “This<br />list is not final for Brazil. It is a unique case<br />because he had never come with us before, and<br />for him being born in Brazil. But he is a player<br />who comes because of what he has done for his<br />club. We have decided he can help us.”<br />Bayern Munich duo Thiago Alcantara and Javi<br />Martinez had also been rewarded for their<br />excellent performances this season, Del Bosque<br />said, while maintaining that the latter could<br />provide valuable cover in both midfield and<br />defence.<br />“We cannot consider Thiago a new <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD5">arrival</span>, he is<br />playing very well for Bayern Munich,” he said.<br />“They are one of best teams in Europe and he<br />is a starter there. Javi Martinez can play in<br />two positions. We can use him as a central<br />midfielder or a centre-half.”<br />Manchester City trio Alvaro Negredo, Jesus<br />Navas and David Silva and Arsenal’s Santi<br />Cazorla have retained their squad places, but<br />recent Manchester United signing Mata has<br />apparently paid the price for indifferent club<br />form this season.<br />Emerging Real Madrid duo Jese Rodriguez and<br />Dani Carvajal were not named, but Atletico<br />midfielder Koke is in again and looks certain to<br />travel to Brazil. World Cup 2010 winner Puyol is<br />not included despite Gerard Pique being<br />unavailable due to a minor thigh injury.<br />Del Bosque asserted the meeting with the<br />Azzurri — a repeat of the <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD10">Euro 2012</span> final —<br />would again provide a stiff test <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD7">for this</span> side.<br />“They are one of the world’s big national<br />teams,” he said. “They have <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD4">Juventus</span> as a base,<br />and are playing very strong games, like the<br />first game of Euro 2012, the two from the<br />Confederations Cup, one of them agonising with<br />extra-time when they were just as strong as we<br />were. Samir Nasri says his <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD5">Manchester City</span> team-<br />mates are targeting a famous quadruple, after<br />beating Sunderland 3-1 in the League Cup final.<br />Despite conceding the opening goal when Fabio<br />Borini neatly finished, a spectacular Yaya<br />Toure leveller, followed by a well taken goal by<br />Nasri and a late Navas strike, gave City the<br />win.<br />"We want to win everything," Nasri is quoted<br />as saying in the Metro. "We’re going to<br /><span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD11">compete</span> for the league, the FA Cup and we’re<br />going to try to make something in the<br />Champions League.<br />"I hope this is going to bring confidence and<br />we’ll fight until the end."<br />The game was looking like slipping away from<br />City as Sunderland went in at the break with<br />the lead.<br />However, an improved second-<span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD10">half</span> performance<br />from Manuel Pellegrini's side was enough to<br />secure the first, of what Nasri hopes, is many<br />trophies.<br />"In the second half, we came with intention<br />and scored three goals," he said.<br />"I hope this cup is going to bring some others.<br />We were still confident [at half-time]. We said<br />we needed to stay calm and remain focused,<br />play higher up and play with more tempo and<br />that’s what we did."<br />For a while it was looking like third time<br />unlucky for Nasri who has suffered cup final<br />defeats twice at Wembley.<br />He was part of the Arsenal side that<br />surprisingly lost to Birmingham in the 2008<br />League Cup final, as well as <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD4">losing</span> to Wigan<br />last year with City in the FA Cup.<br />But when the <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD8">former</span> Marseille man netted his<br />goal, the game only looked like going in one<br />direction, much to his delight.<br />"So much joy, so much pride as well. I lost the<br />two finals that I played here before. Today it<br />was really important to win."<br />City will now turn their attention to the FA<br />Cup, as they bid to swiftly return to Wembley<br />for a semi-final - providing they can avenge<br />last season's defeat to Wigan.</div>

Police Nab Member Of 6-Man Robbery Gang In Lagos

A member of the six‑man armed robbery gang said to be terrorising 
Ajangbadi, Shibiri, a Lagos suburb and its environs, has been nabbed by 
security operatives.<br />

The suspect was arrested following a tip‑off by residents, when the gang operated along Imude road, Shibiri.<br />

Although five members of the gang escaped, four locally‑made shotguns
 and cartridges were recovered from the arrested suspect, simply 
identified as Kabiru.<br />

<strong>Vanguard</strong> gathered that the gang began operation at 9
 p.m., robbing residents and shop owners in the area, including one 
Alhaja Musura Haziz.<br />

However, when the gang retired to share loot at an uncompleted 
building close to Kabiru’s mother’s house, a resident (names withheld) 
alerted Neighbourhood Watch members who were on routine patrol.<br />

Kabiru was arrested while the others escaped. He was handed over to Policemen at Ilemba Hausa police station.<br />

Victim’s account<br />

One of the victims simply called Alhaja said: “Two commercial 
motorcycles with two passengers each, stopped in front of my shop. One 
of them brought out a gun and said I should co‑operate or he would shoot
 my seven‑year‑old child. I got really scared because he was pointing 
the gun towards my child. The other three also had guns.<br />

“I brought out my sales proceeds of N17,000 which they took, in 
addition to my gold necklace worth N35,000 and my mobile phone handset.<br />

“While they were still operating, my friend who had a bar opposite, 
noticed the unusual movement, walked in and asked what the problem was.<br />

“When she got close, one of the robbers threatened and ordered her out.”<br />

We learnt that the suspect has been transferred from Ilemba Hausa police station to the Special Anti‑Robbery Squad, Ikeja.

TRAGIC: Explosion Rocks Governor’s Residence In Owere

The Owerri residence of immediate past Governor of Imo State, Mr. 
Ikedi Ohakim, was reduced to a rubble on Thursday after it was rocked by
 an explosion.<br />

Ohakim told sympathisers that he has become homeless. He accused his 
political opponents of being responsible for the destruction of his 
home.<br />

“What it means now is that any time I have something to do in Owerri,
 I will be begging people for where to sleep in a state I once presided 
as Governor,” he said.<br />

The former governor said, “At 1.30 am my security men called to say 
that they heard a loud bang like an explosion followed by huge flame 
which immediately engulfed the house and they tried to put out the fire 
with water but not until the whole property and building was razed by 
fire.<br />

“When I got here I met the rubble of what used to be my home. I think
 what triggered their adrenalin was my intention to make a political 
statement on Saturday.<br />

“I don’t know how they did it. They might have thrown in the 
explosive or whatever I don’t know but I will leave that for the 
security people to investigate.<br />

“As you all are aware, this is my only house in Owerri even as a 
former Governor of the state and this was built before I became the 
Governor.<br />

30 Second Phone Chargers To B Available In 2016? [See Video Of How It Works]

<br /><br />My Samsung S4 takes up to 3-4hours to complete charging 
and this could be annoying sometimes, but it’s an annoyance we’ve all 
come to accept.<br />

Basically, there is no choice, you can either wait or kepp moving around with a dead battery.<br />

Years from now, we will all be laughed at thinking back to our time, 
because then, there is a possibility that there will be a charger to 
charge your phone complete and fully charged for only 30seconds. A video
 of the prototype was posted on YouTube, watch it at the end of the 
post.<br />

The secret behind that technology was unveiled by a company called <a href="http://www.store-dot.com/" target="_blank"><strong>StoreDot</strong></a> which is called <strong>Nanodot bio-organic nanocrystals</strong>. (sounds strange?) this sounds strange to me too, lets find out what it means bellow.<br />

StoreDot is a company based in Israeli which recently demonstrated 
its Nanodot technology at the Microsoft “Think Next Conference” in Tel 
Aviv.<br />

He said that at the core of the new technology was the use of peptides, compounds containing amino acids.<br />

<blockquote>
“We are modifying the surface of the electrodes with 
bio-organic compounds, peptides, to increase the chemical reaction to 
produce extra energy,” he said.</blockquote>
He also added<br />

<blockquote>
“It allows us to avoid the most annoying aspect of our 
smartphones, of which we are demanding more and more, and to ensure that
 we have a charged telephone all day,”</blockquote>
Breaking down this words scientifically using its terms,: you could be able to fully charge your phone in 30 seconds by 2016.<br />

There are some things to note about the Store-Dot technology.<br />

First, this charger is as large as a laptop charger, which isn’t 
really pocketable for traveling. I’m sure it’s also very expensive to 
make.<br />

However, Its known that StoreDot will reduce the size and price of 
the charger over the year, Eventually, the charger is expected to cost 
twice as much as an average phone charger (around $60), which is a lot 
lesser than what i would pay for something as cool and useful as this.<br />

This device is expected to hit market in late 2016, so we’re still a 
couple years away. However, in a mobile world that has constantly 
struggled with battery life innovations, this could be an important 
turning point.

Man Exposes Girlfriend As Fake Soldier [See Photo]

The 323 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Akure, Ondo State, has arrested a woman, <strong>Angela Omieh</strong>, for posing as a soldier.<br />

Sets of military uniform, police extract and a sworn affidavit for 
loss of her military identity card were said to have been found with 
her.<br />

The Public Relations Officer of the brigade, Captain Ademola Adegoke,
 said Omieh was arrested following a report by her boyfriend.<br />

According to him, Omieh, who resides in Mile 3, Diobu, Port Harcourt,
 Rivers State, was discovered to be in possession of two pairs of 
camouflage, camouflage T-shirt and short, one pair of desert boot, one 
jungle hat and three handsets.<br />

He said the suspect had been parading herself as a soldier attached 
to the 149 Battalion, but deployed to Joint Task Force, Warri for duty.<br />

Adegoke explained that the suspect’s boyfriend, Mr. Collins Jegede, 
narrated how she met Omieh on a social network where she appeared in 
military outfit.<br />

Jegede said he wooed her and she paid him a visit in January 2014 in full military uniform.<br />

Jegede was also said to have reciprocated the visit, but was 
surprised that Onieh lodged him in a hotel at the Ijaiye area of Lagos 
State instead of 149 Battalion, Ojo Military Barracks, where she had 
claimed to be working.<br />

Adegoke said, “Jegede reported the case to the officer-in-charge of a
 military checkpoint at Owo following his suspicion that his girlfriend 
was a fake soldier.”<br />

The suspect admitted that she was fake, adding that it was meant to make ends meet.<br />

She said, “I bought the uniform from Army depot in Zaria. I attended 
the Nigerian Army depot in Zaria, Kaduna State. I could not continue my 
education when my father died, so I decided to buy the kits to help me 
travel to Cotonou, Benin Republic for business with ease.”<br />

Civilians In Borno Attacked And Killed Over 200 Boko Haram Terrorists Yesterday

The rise of the civilians against terror took the Boko Haram saga to a
 new turn in the early hours of Tuesday morning when citizens of Rann, 
headquarters of Kala-Balge local government area, Borno northeast, who 
had fore-knowledge of an impending Boko Haram attack, decided not to 
remain sitting ducks but prepared for battle.<br />

According to reports we received from Civilian sources in Borno, over
 400 Boko Haram terrorists stormed Rann and neighboring villages in the 
early hours of Tuesday, with their usual convoy of hilux trucks, 
motorcycles and APC (Armored Personnel Carriers) only to meet villagers 
ready for them this time. The civilian villagers pounced on the 
terrorists with mere rocks, bows and arrows, local Dane guns, swords and
 “charms,” but as we have earlier reported, Boko Haram are more 
frightened of Civilian-JTF than they are of the Nigerian army, and run 
from the civilians even if they – the civilians only have knives<br />

The battle raged till the sun came up and ended with the civilians 
killing over 200 Boko Haram terrorists, capturing several prisoners and 
recovering several of their vehicles.<br />

From an account of a civilian who participated in defending the 
neighborhoods, as reported in DailyTrust, “Our people also recovered 
over 70 motorcycles that the attackers came with. They also collected 2 
Hilux vehicles and an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) while some of the
 attackers were captured alive.” [<strong>Daily Trust</strong>]

This amazing victory of good over evil, promises a new direction 
in the war against terror that has wrecked hundreds of farming villages 
in the north of Nigeria in the last four years, largely unchecked by 
State security. Civilians determined to arrest a situation they believe 
the Nigerian security services has permitted to destroy their farming 
villages in various towns in the north east, have apparently decided 
take up a fighting posture against Boko Haram terrorists; no longer 
waiting for a military response that hardly ever comes.<br />

Last week, Boko Haram terrorists ravaged Gondura Ngala town, freely 
without any hindrance from the Nigerian military drafted to the north, 
and decimated the entire town, killing over 300 residents. On April 
14th, Boko Haram stormed Chibok and abducted over 200 girls. In that 
episode, Amnesty International reported that the Nigerian security 
services were fully informed of the impending attack, by civilian 
vigilantes and other Intel, several hours prior, yet did not alert or 
defend the village nor engage the terrorists for a full eight hours of 
the abduction, looting and destruction of the village.<br />
A mother from Chibok reportedly told CNN, that “if the army is not ready
 to fight Boko Haram, then we will fight them ourselves.” Apparently 
that day has come.<br />

The Civilian-JTF and ENDS.ng civil rights group is pressing the 
Nigerian government for the civilians to have the right and government 
support, to bear arms, to end the terror scourge once and for all. The 
government is yet to officially respond to this urgent request as 
villagers remain at the mercy of Boko Haram terrorists.<br />

The Shehu of Bama is reported to have ordered his citizens to go get 
guns, after his town was completely decimated twice by Boko Haram 
terrorists with no military response for the full eight hours of 
carnage. More towns are expected to follow suit as the nations 
leadership sleeps and permits terrorists the largely unhindered freedom 
to operate, massacre and destroy Nigeria’s farmers and northern farming 
villages.<br />

State Of Confusion: SSS Says The Real Abubakar Shekau Is Dead

There is confusion currently brewing in the land as the <strong>State Security Service, SSS</strong>, stated that the real leader of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, <strong>Sheikh Abubakar Shekau</strong> is long dead and that the person currently parading himself as Shekau is fake.<br />

With the rate at which the insurgents have been releasing videos 
since the abduction of the female students of the Government Secondary 
School Chibok, Borno State, allegedly by Shekau, the SSS, at a press 
briefing, said they have strong evidence that the man in the videos 
cannot be the real Shekau as he was killed by the military sometime ago.<br />

What I know is that the original Abubakar Shekau is dead; the person 
claiming to be the national leader now is not the original Abubakar 
Shekau.<br />

Brookes, did this cartoon of our president, to conform with what some 
world leaders think of the man who leads the most populated black 
country in the world.<br />

The first to set the ball rolling was USA’s Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton who said:<br />

Jonathan is running a government that is supervising syphoning of Nigeria’s resources;<br />

while US Senator, John Maccain said:<br />

Jonathan’s government is practically not existing and therefore, 
America should just storm Nigeria and rescue the (kidnapped) girls 
before things got out of hand.<br />

An Australian woman has miraculously given birth to conjoined twins 
with one body and two heads despite doctors initially telling them to 
terminate the pregnancy.<br />

Renee Young and her partner Simon Howie, of Tregear in Sydney’s west,
 welcomed their daughters on Thursday six weeks before they were due. 
The couple, who found out via an ultrasound that the twins they were 
expecting was in fact one child with two symmetrical faces and two 
brains connected by the one brain stem, said doctors were shocked by the
 girls’ exceptional progress.<br />

The girls were born with a rare condition called diprosopus, which 
means they share the same body and vital organs but have their own faces
 and brains which are connected by only one brain stem. The condition is
 so rare that only 35 cases have ever been recorded and none have 
survived.<br />

The couple, who are parents to seven other children defied the 
doctors who told them the baby would be looked upon by the public as a 
freak’ because Ms Young had never terminated a pregnancy and because 
they had a family ‘that gives us a lot of support’.<br />

Ms Young gave birth to the girls, named Faith and Hope, via an emergency caesarean at Blacktown Hospital last Thursday.<br />

<strong>Guys what advice will you give this lady as a friend or 
sister, to keep the babies or take a risk of surgery which can only 
spare only one life or none?</strong>

kidnapped Chibok girls, ex-militant Asari Dokubo is still insisting it’s
 all a scam. He led an anti-bringbackourgirls protest yesterday and 
shared photos and the message above on his Facebook page..<br />

I don’t really know what is going on here because at this point one 
would just want to take a pause and ask a few questions like,<br />

how come in all the photos and videos  of the girls that are  been 
released we don’t get to see the BH men with the girls together? so we 
can be sure its the exact  girls we are all looking for that they are
